Erin Gray

Group General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

Ms. Gray serves as group general counsel and chief compliance officer of CNL Securities and its parent company, CNL Financial Group. She provides strategic in-house legal support for CNL and leads its distribution operations, regulatory due diligence, compliance, and corporate and securities legal teams. She has been part of CNL’s legal team since 2012.

Prior to joining CNL, Ms. Gray served as general counsel and held various other roles at Orlando-based private real estate investment management companies and started her career as an attorney at a premier Orlando law firm.

Ms. Gray earned a juris doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida and two bachelor of science degrees, cum laude, in accounting and finance from the University of Central Florida. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and currently holds her FINRA Series 7, 63 and 24 registrations.

Ms. Gray is an Orlando native and was recognized in 2016 as one of the Orlando Business Journal’s “40 under 40.” She serves on the Investment Program Association (IPA)’s Policy, Regulatory and Legal Affairs Committee and, through CNL, is actively involved in the Alternative & Direct Investment Securities Association (ADISA). She previously served as immediate past chair of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Corporate and Securities Network. She actively volunteers in the community and served on Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando & Osceola County’s board of directors for ten years, including two years as its chair.
